Important Information about Minors

To declare your minor you can declare it in Owl Express. In some instances, you may be required to fill out a minor form. It must be noted on your petition to graduate.

  • Nine (9) hours of a minor must be non-duplicative with course requirements in the major.
  • A minimum of six (6) hours in the minor must be taken in residence at Kennesaw State University.
  • Courses taken to satisfy Core Areas A through E (general education) may NOT be counted as coursework in the minor.
